About Dinosaur Game
Dinosaur Game turns a simple side-scrolling run into a test of timing. The dinosaur runs automatically while obstacles arrive from the right. Jump over cacti and use the down arrow to duck beneath birds when they appear. The pace increases during a run, so the timing that works at the beginning will need to change. This page hosts wayou's open-source extraction of the Chromium T-Rex runner.
Getting started
- Click the game, then press Space or tap the dinosaur to start.
- Press Space or Up to jump over cacti. On a keyboard, press Down to duck.
- After a collision, start again and try to improve your distance.
Tips for a better run
- Watch the next obstacle rather than the dinosaur. You have more time to judge the gap.
- Adjust how long you hold jump for different obstacle groups; a longer jump is not always safer.
- Leave enough landing room before a second obstacle. Restarting is part of learning the rhythm.
