Start with the drag gesture
Begin a run, press on the ball and drag before releasing. Look for the aiming guide in the current player and use it to judge the intended arc. The hosted version was tested with a mouse; a desktop drag is not evidence of phone compatibility.
Our recorded input test launched the ball and replaced the start screen with an active score display. No made basket was recorded, so the screenshot below demonstrates release rather than a successful scoring technique.
Separate direction from drag distance
Make a short drag from a consistent point on the ball. Observe whether the ball passes left or right of the target and whether its arc is too low or too high. On the next attempt, adjust direction first while keeping the drag distance similar.
Once the horizontal aim is close, change the drag distance in small steps. This is a practice method for learning the player’s response, not a fixed angle or power setting that works from every hoop.
Common reasons practice shots teach little
- Dragging from a different point every time makes comparisons difficult.
- Changing direction and distance together leaves you unsure which adjustment helped.
- Releasing before inspecting the target turns the attempt into a guess.
- Copying a previous gesture after the target changes ignores the new geometry.
Keep a three-shot mental record
After each release, describe the miss in a few words: left, right, short or long. Use that description to choose one adjustment. If the ball never releases, retry starting the drag directly on it and check that the game has finished loading.
A recorded play session: what happened
Iframe displayed the Dunk Shot tutorial. Direct player: skipped ad, dragged from ball, observed ball airborne and menu replaced by active score 0. No basket, high score or run timer verified.
This was a focused desktop input check of the external player. It was not a full walkthrough, a phone test or proof of reliable iframe loading on every network.
